How to wear Fall’s hottest neutral trend: Brown

How to wear Fall's hottest hue: brown

The hottest neutral hue the fashion world is wearing loving this Fall/ Winter season is brown, so let’s chat about how to master this brown trend! Brown outfits have been very underrated and almost dismissed as a boring shade. Now, it’s making a huge comeback as one of the fashion industry’s fave hue of choice. This earthy hue has been seen on runways, street style and of course, your fave fashion bloggers!

Depending on the fabric and texture of the piece, it can look elevated and even act as a statement piece. The shade flows from toasty caramel tones to deep chocolate tones, which looks utterly amazing of dark and light skin tones alike. Here are some of my favorite ways of wearing the brown trend this season.

Mix different shades

Different shades of brown creates a color dynamic that is more interesting and elevated. Take it a step further by mixing.

Go even further with a little pop of color or a lot, it’s your choice! It is coat season after all, so a great way to enhance the look is to add a chic coat or trench in a vibrant hue.

Pair with brown knits

An easy way to mix up your leather pieces for autumnal weather is mix up textures. A knit cardigan and faux leather in taupe is very chic, so are the sleek textures of leather and suede. Lighter shades of brown may also be a great way to opt for a minimal look.

Brown Animal prints

Whether it’s a purse, a scarf or a cardigan, incorporating animal prints is also a great way to use brown in a statement piece.

Monochrome

A deep chocolate brown monochromatic look is perfect for luxe vibes. This is one of my fave looks!

The brown trend can even be incorporated into your lounge wear like this chic two piece set from Zara.
