Summer dresses destined to make an impression

It is entirely possible, I previously had a somewhat over optimistic idea of what 2020 was going to look like. You know what? That is okay, life happens. However, here is some evidence of what I have been doing over the past couple of months -shopping. Don’t be fooled, I haven’t gone overboard but I couldn’t pass up these dresses in hopes of an outdoor summer.

Dresses are simply a staple piece in a lot of women’s closets or even part of their signature style. Even though I might not get to wear these dresses out in real life settings. I think these dresses would make quite an impression for quite a few years. I mean, when has a maxi dress ever been out of style in the Spring/ Summer months. In my opinion, here are some dress styles you can buy now and wear later.

Broderie Dress

This is the perfect dress for a garden party or summer wedding. The broderie anglaise pattern is positively divine. For those of you that don’t know, here a little fashion lesson for you.

Broderie anglaise is characterized by patterns composed of round or oval holes, called eyelets, which are cut out of the fabric, then bound with overcast or buttonhole stitches

The slit adds a little bit of sexiness and playfulness. Best of all, the color is bold and eyecatching.

The White Maxi

The white summer dress, always a classic, always beautiful. I decided it was time to update my collection of white dresses. The billowy sleeves adds of bit of old world classiness that is in juxtaposition with the low cut neckline. I call this dress, my naughty but nice look.
