The Summer trends to take into Fall

I have to finally come to terms with the fact that Summer is almost over. I will miss all the warm and balmy summer days and just being able to long walks along the lake or lounge outside. However, Fall is my favorite season for fashion, so I find myself in a conundrum of sorts caught between yearning for chic layers amidst Chicago’s attic chill or hanging on to the last remnants of warm Summer days. To kick off this upcoming season I have partnered with Walmart again to show you some easy transitional styles you can score right now.

Denim

You may have been wearing denim shorts or jeans all Summer long, now it’s time for you to reach for those denim jackets. One of my favorite ways to casually transition into fall is with jackets, specifically denim jackets. These are perfect when the days are still very warm but the nights get cooler. They are effortlessly chic and pair well with everything from jeans or with a more elevated dress. This entire look is from Walmart which I scored at an amazing steal.

Head to toe denim

The idea of wearing a head to toe denim look during those 90 degree Summer days borders on insanity, but during the Fall months, it is a perfectly chic way to transition into milder temps.

I absolutely adore these denim corset top by Sofia Jeans from Walmart and matching jeans. To the honest, the entire collection of denim is pretty impressive especially at those incredibly affordable price points. Try the bootcut denim, those are back in style.

Maxi Dress

The season of Fall doesn’t mean you have to put away all your favorite maxi-dresses away. Layer them with your favorite denim jacket or even a leather jacket, as you please.

As the months get colder, swap out your pumps for some boots, trust me, you’ll be the chicest person in the room. I tend to buy maxi dresses well into the Fall because of two reasons. One, I usually take a vacation around labor day weekend. Secondly, it’s the cheapest time to get the best styles, like this gorgeous number from Walmart. Pssst, it comes in three colors.
