This holiday season may be my busiest yet. My calendar is filled with a barrage of work events and holiday parties. Trust me, this is not a complaint.  However, this means, I am constantly on the look out for stylish outfits that I can wear to each event. I usually don’t care about repeating outfits, especially when I look great and feel beautiful in them. However, I prefer not to repeat looks within a short period of time or repeat them to parties where I would run into the same circle. No, thanks!

I love to splurge and indulge on statement pieces or outfits but as a working women, this cannot logically happen every time. That is why I am always thrilled to partner with Gordmans to show you how I often save so much money by shopping here.

Gordmans is an off-price retailer, which means you can score brand name pieces at a fraction of the price. I styled two different looks and spent a total of $50. If this isn’t clever shopping, I don’t what is.

Inspired by all the events I am invited to this holiday, I styled two looks to give you ideas on what to wear for your holiday parties.
A Fancy Soiree
I made a promise to finally treat myself to some broadway shows this holiday and I am finally doing it. I will be seeing the Nutcracker in a week and I am so excited. I would wear a dress like this to the show for an evening of indulgence. This dress only retails at $14.99 from Gordmans and the fabric gives this outfit a luxe feel. Add a bit of holiday vibes with gold accessories or a sequined purse.

Dinner with Friends

My calendar is also filled with fun dinner dates with old co-workers and friends. Instead of a full head to toe exaggerated outfit I opted for a sparkly velvet top and velvet pants. It is casual enough to go out with close friends, but with enough shimmer to lend it a festive air.

Happy Shopping!
